Install Ambient Time on your Apple Watch. In watchOS 26, open the Smart Stack and scroll down to Edit. Add an Ambient Time widget and pin it to keep it close.

On your watch face

Choose a complication.

Touch and hold your watch face, choose Edit, then swipe to its complications. Select a supported slot and choose an Ambient Time complication.

Available slots depend on your Apple face. Not every face supports every layout. Apple’s complication guide →

A little context

Weather and tide cards need location permission and current data from the watch app. Apple controls placement and refresh timing. Compliment selects a new reflection each hour; the watch decides when to refresh it.

The app also includes full-screen clocks. Those are separate from the widgets and complications here; they do not replace Apple’s system watch faces.
